Valencia - Friday practice times

Lotus ART's Jules Bianchi topped the timesheets in Friday practice, in a session that saw two red flags for spins by Josef Kral and Pal Varhaug.
French driver Jules Bianchi put in a top time of 1:47.681s to head the timesheets at the end of the Friday morning free practice session in Valencia. Bianchi and Giedo van der Garde in second were the only two drivers to dip under the 1:48 mark all morning.

The session saw two red flags, for spins by Josef Kral and Pal Varhaug both in turn 14 of the docklands converted road course. Conditions were hot but cloudy, with the track still very dusty as had been the case in the preceding F1 first free practice session.
