Monza - Practice times

Luca Filippi took the top spot on home ground during the final GP2 race weekend of the year at Monza, after managing to beat an early blistering laptime set by Fabio Leimer.
Fabio Leimer laid down the challenge of a laptime of 1:32.128s, and only Luca Filippi was up to the challenge of topping it with a 1:32.018s during the Friday morning GP2 practice session at Monza.

Romain Grosjean had an eventful first half of the session, overshooting chicanes and running into the gravel trap, before finally improving in the second half to take up third position in the timings ahead Jules Bianchi and Charles Pic, who together with Filippi, Giedo van der Garde (eighth) and Sam Bird (10th) is fighting to resolve the runners-up spot in the drivers championship.
