Sepang - Qualifying times

Davide Valsecchi's early lap of 1:45.494s proved the best of Friday afternoon's qualifying session, putting him on pole alongside Luiz Razia.
Conditions stayed dry in Sepang somewhat against initial expectations, allowing DAMS driver Davide Valsecchi to set an early lap time of 1:45.494s that proved too good for anyone to beat for pole position.

A late run by Luiz Razia put the Arden into second, with Max Chilton (Carlin) joining Stefano Coletti (Coloni) on row two and Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering) starting Saturday's feature race on row three alongside Lotus GP's Jolyon Palmer.
