Davide Valsecchi followed through on the promise of his blistering Friday morning practice pace to claim pole position for the Bahrain feature race.
Davide Valsecchi claimed pole position for Saturday's GP2 feature race at the Bahrain International Circuit, with a lap of 1:41.200s over a quarter of a second faster than Lotus GP's Esteban Gutierrez who will line up alongside him on the front row.

In an impressive day for DAMS overall, Valsecchi's rookie team mate Felipe Nasr clinched third place ahead of Fabio Leimer, with Johnny Cecotto Jr. and Stephane Richelmi making up row three.
