Johnny Cecotto Jr. made the most of pole position at Monaco to lead into the first corner in Friday's 42-lap feature race, while fellow front row man Max Chilton got squeezed out of place by second row duo Marcus Ericsson and Giedo van der Garde.
Cecotto avoided mistakes and held off iSport's Ericsson to the end to claim his maiden series win, and the first victory for reigning
GP2 championship team Barwa Addax in 2012.
