GP2 » Valencia - Friday practice

Marcus Ericsson pipped Davide Valsecchi for the top time in Friday morning practice, on a dusty track under cloudy skies buffeted by high winds.
Marcus Ericsson got iSport off on a good start for the Valencia weekend, with the top time in Friday morning practice ahead of DAMS' Davide Valsecchi.

Giedo van der Garde (Caterham) posted a late flier to claim third place in the timings, while Ericsson's team mate Jolyon Palmer settled for a strong fourth.

There was a six minute red flag during the session, caused by Caterham Racing's Rodolfo Gonazalez losing the backend of his Caterham over the curbs into turn 12.
