Hockenheim - Race results (1)

21 July 2012

A daring gamble starting on slick tyres in damp conditions led to podium positions for Johnny Cecotto Jr. and Stephane Richelmi who had both started from well down the grid for the Hockenheim feature race.

Fabio Leimer was able to convert his front row starting position to a second place finish on a more conventional pit stop strategy. Luiz Razia and James Calado finished in seventh and eighth to lay claim to the front row of the Sunday sprint race under the reverse grid positions.
