Singapore - Qualifying times

Luca Filippi won Coloni a final pole position in GP2, while Carlin's Max Chilton will start Saturday's Singapore feature race from second place alongside him on the front row.
It might be the final weekend for Coloni in GP2 but they certainly seem intent on going out in style, with Luca Filippi claiming pole position for them under the floodlights in Singapore.

Filippi will start alongside Carlin's Max Chilton, and Lotus GP's Esteban Gutiérrez - the only other driver to dip under a two minute lap time during the 30 minute session - will start from third alongside iSport's Jolyon Palmer.

In the battle for the drivers championship, DAMS' Davide Valsecchi set the pace early on but fell back to sixth place in the final standings. However, the main threat to his title ambitions will start three places back, with Luiz Razia only managing ninth place on the grid in the Arden.

The session ended prematurely after Nigel Melker locked up and buried the front of his Ocean Racing car into the barrier in the tunnel under the grandstand with 90 seconds remaining, triggering a red flag. All cars had qualified within 107% of the pole time.
