Brumos Racing continues to run strongly in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, with the two Porsche Riley's in the top in the top four with little more than three and a half hours remaining.
Despite some dramas overnight, the #58 car continues to lead the way in the hands of Buddy Rice, who holds an advantage of little more than ten seconds from defending champion Scott Pruett in the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing entry.
The second car, the #59, is currently fourth and the final car still on the lead lap, with Terry Borcheller having taken over at the wheel from Hurley Haywood after the latest stint for the multiple event winner.
“The pace has been really quick,” Haywood said. “All of the drivers have been going at 100 per cent.
“There have been a lot of yellow flags during the night which has meant that the field has been backed up a lot, so it has been intense. It's probably one of the hardest 24 hour races I've done.
“We are looking good for the rest of the race, our cars are running great.”
