Bobby D's learning that driving on ovals is not as easy as it looks (especially when your turning laps at 225 mph). Things happen very fast.

I hope he makes the best out of qualifying and does a good job in the race. He will quickly find out what makes the place so special on race day.

Now he has to be careful not to put it in the wall yet again and risk not qualifying.

It doesn't really matter that much where you start the race at the '500', except that if you languish in the bottom 10 or so during the race you'll get lapped.

He will have to steadily work his way through the field and run near the top 10, and I guess we'll have to see how that goes since it's his 2nd race on an oval.

Hope he will manage to do ok though, I always watch the 500 but it will be better with a Dutch guy running there as well. And of course, last year it wasn't on TV so I had to use some Chinese bootleg internet software, thankfully that won't be necessary now.
