What a ridiculously arrogant 'pot calling kettle' comment from Andretti, LOL. It's common knowledge that 'kid doesn't get it' phrase could very well describe himself to a T!!

It was lap 1 for goodness sake, what in the heck was your car doing so unaturally high alongside the wall into the turn? I'm not denying that Mario moved up & that, I would summise was in greater part a spotter issue from KV.. but c'mon Marco, we know arrogance is bred into you, but quit being a prat & taking the classless highbrow attitude, it didn't do Danica any favors & it wont for you either. Your rep as a prime whiner is growing & the only milk you deserved at the 500 was from a sippy cup!

Both overreacted and both should kick their spotters behinds. Stupid to go off like that in the first lap.

I do not know what it is about open wheeled racing and why the sport seems to attract more than their share of arrogant spoiled punks. It is not surprising that the sport continues to lose fans, money and drivers to NASCAR.

Yes, Marco may be a whiner - but he has reason to be ticked off on this. Moraes screwed up (or his spotters) and took him out. Quite obvious.

This is an example of relying on spotters to race. NASCAR Cup cars now need spotters as the drivers can barely turn their heads and have little outward visibility. Indy cars have plenty of visibility, especially with those huge mirrors. Marco was relying on Mario's spotter to tell Mario he was there and give room. If Marco had been fully alongside at the apex of turn 1 he could have been expected to be given room. He barely had a run and only got halfway before the EXIT and should have expected Mario to use the exit. Marco put himself in a spot from which he had no exit and put himself and Mario out of the race. A smart driver would not have put himself there with or without a spotte

Marco was in the wrong in my opinion. Normally, you have to have the front of your car even with the driver of the car you are overtaking, BEFORE the turn, to claim the right to space in a turn. When cars come out of turns two and four at Indy, they ALL drift up next to the wall! What was Marco thinking being up next to the wall on turn two of lap one - putting himself in the squeeze play. :?
