Those are the guys! The real racers with guts and balls. Its (IndyCar) probably more dangerous than MotoGP and as for comparing it to the joke of F1.......I dont even know where to start. :D

Let make people race seated in wooden frame bodies with 2000hp engines. Yeah, let's see who has the biggest ones !! The championship will be decided on who survives at the end of the season...

I read on another web site that Power thought he had killed Nelson Philippe in the accident. They were both very lucky that Will had a moment to steer towards the front of Nelson's car, thus not spearing him directly on the side of Nelson's car. It could have been a repeat of Zanardi's Champ Car accident in 2001.

Infineon Raceway definitely needs more safety marshalls at the top of that hill at turn 3A for next year.

Maybe they should put lights for red and yellow flags in well placed areas to second marshals on the blind corners.

When something like that happens, they trigger the lights as well as waving the flags because if you watch the footage, there were marshals but not in the best position to be visible.

I was not there Saturday but I was there for the race. There are lights along the top of the safety fence at turn 3A. I am not sure if they are controlled by the local flaggers or just for full course yellows though.

Power (and Team Penske) have confirmed that the in car caution light did not come on, or was not turned on when the caution was declared.
