IndyCar » Lola takes wraps off 2012 concept


Lola has finally provided images of the 2012 IndyCar chassis it hopes will trump rivals Swift, Dallara and DeltaWing.

Hal - Are you referring to Ben Bowlby (former Chief of Engineering at Lola, now Engineering Manager at Ganassi Racing) the designer of the Delta THING, or are you referring to the Lola IndyCar concept?

The Lola looks nice (and built some fantastic cars back in the CART and Champ Car days), but I think the Swift is the future formula.

The Lola isn't cutting edge enough, and the Delta THING is just plain stupid looking.

Oh that looks so much better than the current Dallara indycar and lets not talk about the delta missile! If that goes like a missile then im sure it would go off like a missile if it hit anything! Any news on pictures on the swift machine?

Within reason, they should all be accepted and we could have a series with different manufacturers and not a continuation of the (yet another) one make bore it has become.
