Yet another exceptionally gifted driver forced to endure the farce of american single engine single chassis open wheel racing. This kid has a ton of talent and testing experience, yet since he doesn't have money backing him, he is forced to walk away from F1 and go race in the bland and boring Indy Car series. Yes the Indy 500 will have 400,000 people in the stands, but how good will the race actually be?

i am a fan of F1 and watch every race, but ever since the engine freeze, i think F1 sucks

Indy is truthfully more entertaining atm...

lo carb Please look at the comments made by those of us that viewed both the F1 and Indy season openers.Bland and boring certainly did not apply to to the Indy race.Having just watched the V8 race at Adelaide,I rekon V8s and Indycars are the two best series for RACING! :D

This bodes well for the Indy series - he looks to be the real deal.

Concerning Indy and F1. We have been made to believe that having the most advanced cars in the world with the top drivers makes for an awesome series with awesome racing. But when there is no passing it isn't call racing - it's called a parade.

Are you joking Lo-Carb Monster? He has an opportunity to be involved in some very exciting racing, unlike that F1 snooze fest. He also has an opportunity to win over $3 million for ONE race, the Indy 500.

He will find he has some very tough competition, and unlike F1 the driver makes the difference, not the car.

Maybe you should try watching it sometime.
