A street circuit around Baltimore's Inner Harbour and Camden Yards could be the next addition to the IRL schedule.

Obviously, the Mayor doesn't know exciting from lame.
Yes, the world now will view Baltimore as a gang laden crime infested city with a crapwagon race, that'll draw 0.3 TV rating, instead of just the city with a crime rate 6 times higher than New York city.
That's well worth the millions they're wasting on the HURL. Might wanna hire some more cops rather than piss away money on a race nobody will see because it's not safe to attend, and the IRL a lousy product nobody wants to watch.

Fantastic news to get a race here on the east coast. The proposed course layout is awesome and and winds through the Inner Harbor area which is the safest part of town. Love to see more non-ovals on the IRL circuit. A driver must be able to drive temp street and road racing circuits along with ovals to be a true champion. Yes Balto has some crime issues but most big cities do. This is a great opportunity for Baltimore to shine. This could be as GREAT as Long Beach so I hope they do it up right!
