IndyCar » Sky Sports confirms 2011/12 HD coverage


Sky Sports have announced that they have signed a two-year deal for exclusive rights to live IZOD IndyCar Series racing and will be showing races in high definition.

thats just great now sky has not only took nascar now indy aswell this is a joke now if you want to watch any of these you have to pay sky even more money just another company that is ripping us off. and the vewing figures WILL probably go down now aswell well done indy/nascar for allowing sky this monopoly on these two great sports NOT!

SKY haven't got the rights to Nascar for 2011 Premier sports have they are a completely seperate company you don't need to subscribe to sky to get it and as SKY had the Indy Rights last year it is no different you had to pay to watch it last year too

Yeah numpty is right.

BSkyB do not have NASCAR, Premier Sports does which is a separate company and the channel is also available on Free to air digital TV as a premium channel.

And yeah there is no change as far as Indy is concerned.

While I don't like paying extra money for channels, who else was going to take Indycar? Sky are within their rights to bid for it. And do we know that anyone else in the UK even wanted it?

If you want to watch it, cough up. If you don't stop crying about it.
