hahaha, desperate times call for desperate measures. i mean the best stars will be tied up that weekend in their respective series, they know that. But it gets them free publicity and they know they aint gonna lose their 5 mil

I would like to see Montoya take this on because I think he could actually win it.

Trouble is any decent Nascar driver wouldn't be allowed to race here in case they were injured and couldn't finish the Nascar season.

I dont want to see old-timers racing - they would be lapped easily and may just get in the way!

Plus the speedway is in the middle of nowhere and is not that glamorous!

Still kind of a fun idea.

Montoya could be a shoe in at Ganassi, maybe they overlooked that possibility when they came up with this.

Wouldn't it be awesome if F1 drivers did more races outside F1 like in the old days? Bourdais did Le Mans and Alguersuari finished his season in WSBR, but we never see the top F1 drivers doing sportcar races or indy like in the old days.

Guess they're afraid to hurt their extremely valuable images as the world's fastest drivers.

Fantastic, let the NASCAR boys in so they can stuff up another racing category by using their tow/ push tactics like that disappointing spectacle called the Daytona 500!

Yep, it is too bad that F1 is racing that weekend. I'd love to see a few F1 robots get their bums kicked. There's no way an F1 driver would win on an oval in a different car. I doubt they'd do that well on the road courses too(all new) for a while.
