Former Formula 1 and NASCAR driver Scott Speed has been confirmed as driving for Dragon Racing in the Indianapolis 500 and the season finale world championship round in Vegas.

My favorite driver of the Red Bull driver programme. He wasn't let go for poor performance. The guy was out qualifying the red bull racing guys, while driving the Torro Rosso.

He had Liuzzi covered but he was the one dropped.

The real reason they let him go was because his outspoken american attitude didn't sit well with his european bosses. Too bad he never learned that.

He should have asked to be transferred to Indy rather than Nascar. With lucrative Red Bull backing in a solid team he might still have had a full time ride, and better success. His forte is single seaters, it would have been natural.
