Basically she milked the Indy series dry. She will never win nothong and the novelty has gotten really old. In Nascar she can pull another sham over a whole new group of people caught in the hype. Hell, Junior's been doing it for years making millions by being a mid pack performer and winless.

I wonder which of the 'good ol boys' this awful woman will pick on first? The real reason for her leaving Indy is more likely to be that there are now much quicker girls than her joining the series and these will be showing her up wherever she races. She is rubbish on street circuits and average on the ovals ans her light is now beginning to shine less brightly, good bye Danica and good riddance!!

Don't know about anyone else, but I am missing her already, and she hasn't even gone yet.

I've only followed Indycar since the Champcar merger and I've never really understood what all the fuss is about with her. Yes, she has her good races and although I don't bother much with the oval races, she seems to go better there, but more often than not she tends to be at best mid-field.

She comes across as a bit self-important in any interviews I have ever seen of her and is only there because of the media interest and sponsorship the team and the series get from her racing in the series.

@SP3 - you took the words right out of my mouth.

I can deal with some of the over hype and over blown media attention but what I can't stand is her pissy little attitude toward other drivers when things don't go her way. The IndyCar boys treated her way too nice and used the kid gloves on her - the NASCAR boys won't be so soft. If she runs off at the mouth than she's going get ran into the wall. My money is on Kyle Busch to be the first to do the honors......

In my opinion Simona de Silvestro is a better driver. She has a massive crash, suffers burns and still qualifies ahead of Danica. But I thought she was a better driver before anyway. Perhaps Danica's making the switch because she realises she's not the leading lady anymore.

I'd put my money on Newman before Bush. But I don't know, I think the nascar guys might be afraid to tangle with her. She'll rival Jr in the marketing and popularity contest.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out...sooo tiresome.

Every little success is greeted with sirens blarring, rose petals strewn at her feet, horny old guys lusting for her in the shadows, and alot of fellow racers wondering what the fuss is all about...

Other women already have eyes on her place within Indycar...

Now she did knock down a few more doors for the to admit that...the 21st century Janet Guthrie.

...wait'll she gets into Nascar and somebody gives her a trip to the wall, all legal like! If ya ain't rubbin', ya ain't racin'
...and that won't be a once off, hi, welcome to the's like that week in and week out...
I don't think she's got anymore guts than it takes to ride the gravy train til she hangs it up and becomes a partial team owner with all that loot she's socking away...
