IndyCar » Newman/Haas quits IndyCar series

Newman/Haas Racing has announced that it will not be entering any cars in the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series, bringing to an end a 29-year involvement in US open wheel racing.

Yes its shocking, but maybe Newman/Haas simply lost interest in IndyCar. If sure if they tried very hard for the sponsorship they would have got it. To see them them off 2012 is unreal but we are in deep recession and sponsors are not knocking on doors. Its a huge wakeup call for those left (in IndyCar)
