Rubbish...just a huge smoke screen to make us believe that this was a rare event and that IndyCar is safe. They have some big problems over there and wont be surprised if this happens again

That track is like the old Monza bowl. Unlimited grooves, 225 mph, a big field, and unforgiving iron instead of trees. Just a sad sad day. Danny you are one of the ace of aces. Miss you.

They have made a big issue out of this. Looks like no one wants to accept responsibility. The argument is that it could have happened with 20 cars (or less) racing, but accidents that happen at 200mph+ with nothing but a concrete wall or catch fencing to crash into will mean the driver highly risks more than a few bruises and a headache. It goes without saying RIP Dan

LVMS is lined with the SAFER barrier, there is no concrete to be able to crash into.

The report is a cowardly whitewash.
The drivers, the fans, anyone with half a brain knew a big wreck like this was overdue. The simple truths are that Crapwagons will fly great distances with very little provocation, and Flying Crapwagons Kill and maim when they hit something solid at 150+. May these bastards burn in hell.

What a joke. Indy Car denies any responsibility. They WERE partially responsible. They told us what we already knew, you can see how he died in the you tube videos. This is such a disgrace to Dan's memory. He did so much for the series and it seems the loss of his life means nothing to them. I will NEVER watch Indy Car again. It won't be the same without him. Such a terrible loss. To bad they didn't listen to the drivers concerns, Dan would still be with us. And the challenge, completely stupid stunt!
