Only 4 oval races. Good. I never liked them, and always thought they were dangerous, and in the end if costs us fans a great competitor.

Oval racing was not made for these cars, besides it has no relevance whatsoever in real world vehicle development.

The Indy 500 should be run on the road course. Then it will once again become a worldwide phenomenon

Got to disagree ovals make for exciting racing and are form key part of Indy Car/US racing traddition. Yes it is real sad we loss Dan Wheldon on an oval but I don't think he would want to see a reduction in the oval races. There seem to have been a been a bunch of factors that contributed to Wheldon's death not just the fact that it was an oval race.

Besides Dan was at his best on ovals.

Indy 500 a road course event, ending 100 years of traddition are you mad? Suppose you're anti the Isle of Mann TT as well?

Oval racing came from horses racing on oval tracks. We are way past that. It's simply irrelevant today. Time for a change.

If they went without ovals and there was only one top open wheel series in the US, they will start to become more of real alternative to F1, and draw more sponsors.

Less races than last year it is time Indycar started to market their product overseas. Champ car was getting better every year with much better racing with better track disciplin. In Indy car we have one team who seem to dictate what should be.
