IndyCar » New rule to stop mid-season engine swaps


The IZOD IndyCar Series organisers have amended their rules for engine manufacturers to stop any further mid-season switches by teams in the future.

What a load of cr*p. Next they will be telling teams which drivers to hire. This is symptomatic of an entertainment company more concerned with profit than anything to do with sport. I can't imagine any sportsman wanting to be associated with such a sham race series.

...as predicted the Penske and Ganassi teams will perfect a winning formula and the rest of the teams will follow. Same will happen next year with the aero package. R
