IndyCar » Chevy formally appeals turbocharger ruling


The IndyCar Series had confirmed that Chevrolet has lodged an official appeal over the decision to allow Honda to change part of their engine turbocharger.

I agree with Nicolai in that INDYCAR should either have only single turbo engines or twin turbo engines and not both. Changing turbo housings on the single turbo HONDA is an illegal modification under their own rules. It was a can of worms in the making and they should settle this once and for all. If HONDA is the only single turbo engine, let them switch to twin turbos with the same specs as the CHEVROLET and the LOTUS. Clean up your mess INDYCAR, because this issue will not go away and people will just end up watching another form of racing.
