IndyCar » Graham Rahal joins RLL for 2013


As widely anticipated, Graham Rahal has confirmed that he's moving to the team co-owned by his father Bobby Rahal in order to compete in the 2013 season of the IZOD IndyCar Series.

That girl was one of, if not THE, the worst things Rahal ever did. His son, however, can drive and has some mechanical/setup knowledge. The question is how will Graham be allowed to be treated within the team. Will he be allowed to be treated like a man or will the team members have to tippy toe around?

I like this move. For someone if his ability, Chip Ganassi should have gave him a few better upgrades to be a bit more competitive. He knew he was the equal of Franchiti and Dixon but he couldn't show it, since they were getting the high end parts.

Aside from Penske andreti and Ganassi, schmidt motorsports and rahal letterman were the next best teams last year.

Only thing is that Sato was wildly inconsistent. Very fast at times but also over driving at other times to make up speed.

But with the chevy engine now, Dragon can become a power in the series. They have plenty of cash and maybe even some Penske hardware.
