Yves Matton: My overriding sense is that the rally confirmed that the performances of the DS3 WRC have progressed.

Loeb already proved the Citroen is capable of winning, so dont listen to the upcoming excuses of Citreon drivers saying VW has taken more steps in development and have the surprior package.

Citroen needs Faster drivers, unfortunetly the only other driver that might give them a chance is Otsberg but bad luck and a few shoddy mistakes make him look much worse then he is.

Yes, I as was just about to say Matton says the win in Argentina confirms all the hard work they have done with the DS3, I just think it was the driver who had the goods to bag the win, I think the car has been capable since Loebs last win on Monte, since then the car has tracked the VW like for like

The exact same with the Fiesta, this also has the legs to win but sadly the drivers are not quite there yet, all 3 have the future potential and Malcolm did well to coach Novikov on the final day with his fight with Latvala

I certainly dont agree with Matton that his team will win the Manufacturers for the 6th straight year, this is going to be VWs year, Ogier just looks too comfortable and Lavala is starting to get regular Podiums, how is 6th and 9th gonna beat that, its like trying to win a Poker game with a bad hand

I'm surprised how poorly Hirvonen have performed so far this season. Last year he was a lot more consistent and always in the high points positions. Now it looks like he's making mistakes that weren't typical for him.

Matton must be optimistic as a director although I think it's crystal clear for him that both titles are lost.
