Yeah,wow, what a finish! The local NBC affiliate in NYC, WNBC, actually showed this on the 6 o'clock news, and they never show a thing about motorsports unless it shows a crash or is about whatshername. I hope that this is good publicity for the 500 tomorrow. And, in about an hour F1 qualifying is on. I must go out and get the paper and bagels.

These Indy cars a butt ugly! Period.

Tony George has managed to turn a world class event with the world's best drivers and some of the world's car manufactures participating into an event that few of the drivers have name recognition and the cars are barely recognizable as race cars.

Let's see: A Brazilian driver in an Italian made chassis powered by an English made engine wins America's great race crossing the finish line at 120 mph. Exciting as all get out, especially for an American racing fan.

Those last 20 laps were some of the best motor racing I have seen in many a year - only made better by Tony Kannan deservedly winning a classic
