Lewis Hamilton: It would have been an easy win really, I had the pace. The car was feeling great and I just had no problems at all, but the tyre blew up.

I would have rather seen Webber and Seb fight it out, but for the latter's gearbox.
They could do away with DRS now with these exploding beer can -coozies they call tyres for the 'wild card'. Jjust stay safely far enough back and wait for your rivals misfortune. He can't pass you back.

typer. you are overlooking many facts!

lulu is hard on tyres, and even nico, a gentler driver, was having problems.
vettel was told not to push at the start.
lulu had already taken the life out of his tyres in quali, so he would have had to pit pretty soon anyway.
what ifs mean nothing

Saying it would have been an easy win when the tyre blowout happened so early in the race is A GRAND BRAIN FART that only Lulu can produce.
After all the bigger part of the disadvantage as a consequence of that tyre blowout was eradicated by the safety car.

Richard I have just found out on another thread that Lewis was driving a damaged car. TBH Richard Brundle Hill Herbert were all praising Lewis's effort and Brundle then went on to say that Lewis was the fastest in F1 and I will take what they say with a high degree of credibility as they have no axes to grind and plus all are former F1 driver who would know more than us I would imagine. Regards Lewis being hard on his tires those days have gone he is just naturally quick.
