The latest GP win for Sebastian Vetel was greeted by another audibly hostile reception from parts of the crowd in Singapore, to the anger of both Niki Lauda and Christian Horner.

Turning up at a sporting event and booing someone who's only crime is winning is wrong.

Some F1 "fans" are showing the mentality of football fans and that's a bit of a concern. Vettel seems to be handling it very maturely but I feel sorry for the kid, he doesn't deserve it.

Seb just confirmed what I said on here namely, that those booing where not locals, this is now taking a totally different dimension from the by now customary spontaneous booing at Monza, it is a travelling circus supporting one of two drivers on the grid.

People who pay their money in deserve to be allowed to express themselves, even if that doesn't fit with the wishes of the organisers.
At the end of the day, they're just trying to put him off for the next race and make the championship more exciting. It's not lkely to work, but what else can they do?
Vettel might as well understand that he's not well liked. I'm sure the world championships and millions in the bank will help his ego to heal.

It's not the winning Horner and F1 people, It is 100% the Malaysian incident. If Webber was considered to be an all around bad guy and that nobody liked or had respect for than Sepang would have gone unnoticed. Vettel was-is very un sportsman like and the people have seen it and some have felt it and now the ball is in Vettel's court he just needs to own up to all of this and stop thinking it's because he's winning. Everyone likes a winner but not at all costs.
