Other than Kanaan - the others have hardly set the world on fire - why reward mediocrity by extending their contracts.........

There is no comparison between Danica and Tony. Tony is a top driver and Danica is just a wanna be at this time. She can not drive anything but ovals and that seems to be alluding her as well. She is on the team because of her fan appeal and sponsor request to put her on the team. She will be out of this ride by next year. She is a midpack runner at best.

I think Mutoh has been quite impressive, best rookie in the field IMHO. So that leaves Marco, who's still very young and has shown enough promise in the past even though this season hasn't been brilliant so far. Stability is a good thing and I really don't see a reason for them to change anything driver-wise.

Danica Patrick finished the Grand Prix of Sonoma Sunday 5th out of 27 entries from a starting position of 9th. Tony Kanaan started 4th and finished 3rd.

Overall Kanaan is ranked 4th in Driver Points while Danica is 6th.

Kanaan has one win this season and Patrick has one win.

Would you care to expand on how Kanaan is "setting the world on fire" while Patrick is "mediocre" ?
