Agreed Killer. She'll never win the championship, but she could get lucky and win the Indy 500 (and $3M) some day. She does much better on ovals than road courses.

I actually met Danica once during an event promoted by the company I worked with at the time and I probably spent about 20 minutes chatting with her.
I can say she IS very beautiful and a very pleasant woman to talk to.

I am sure she is a nice person and all, but what in the hell do swimsuit photos and soft-porn like promotions for godaddy and the like have to do with racing. She is a disgrace as a role model, much less a female races role model. Imagine guy racers constantly stripping down to speedos and showing of their muscles and (tiny) packages in order to lure in women spectators. It would be a farce as much as this skin-over-talent promotion is a farce.

Mr. Kruger,
Lets be honest. Racing drivers in Indy, F1, Nascar or any similar series aren't doing it because of the racing they are doing it because of the money. If all a person wanted to do was go fast they would go to the salt flats and drive as fast as they wanted... racing in any series is a business aimed at making the most money in the limited time you have a career. Yes what she is doing has nothing to do with racing, but it does increase her exposure and that increases the amount of money she can make. The days of purely racing for the fun of it are long gone. Its all about the money.

Sure, Danica makes plenty of money everytime she walks out her front door. But it's a fact that the Andretti TEAM gets a sizeable hunk of the proceeds from these things. That's what supports the team and Danica's co-drivers. Especially those obnoxious GoDaddy ads, but without them, and other teams' sponsors' ads, there might not be a series at all.

Mr. Kruger:

How about all the race car drivers that have promoted cigarettes over the years? They've contributed to something far worse than showing off some skin, both of which are not absolutely directly related to racing.

Judge her choice to model as you may, it has been far more promotional for a single racing series than any male driver has done.
