Scheckter to continue at DRR

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has revealed that Tomas Scheckter will expand his relationship with the team to at least nine more races this season, having debuted together in last weekend's ABC Supply/AJ Foyt 225 at the Milwaukee Mile.

Having made his first appearance of the year in a second Dale Coyne Racing entry at the Indianapolis 500, South African Scheckter took sponsor MonaVie to DRR for Milwaukee and, following a top ten qualifying effort and 13th place finish, has extended his agreement to continue partnering British rookie Mike Conway - and, on occasion, Milka Duno - from this weekend's round at Texas Motor Speedway.

I'm really excited about it," the former TMS race winner commented, "I think we proved, in a short time in Milwaukee, that we are competitive, and [co-owners] Dennis [Reinbold] and Robbie [Buhl] have given me a great opportunity. I'm also lucky to have MonaVie onboard. They have been extremely supportive, and I'm looking forward to getting the MonaVie car on the track in Texas and hopefully put it in Victory Lane."
