Andretti Green Racing to be known as Andretti Autosport after restructuring move is completed
Andretti Green Racing has been renamed as Andretti Autosport following the completion of a restructuring move announced earlier this year.

Under the terms of the restructuring, Michael Andretti will take sole charge of the team with previous partners Kim Green and Kevin Savoree focusing on other commitments away from the race team.

The team has won the IndyCar title on three occasions and the Indianapolis 500 twice. This season, the team fielded four cars for Tony Kanaan, Marco Andretti, Danica Patrick and Hideki Mutoh.

“This is a great day for all of us,” Andretti Sr said. “We're very excited about the future of the team and we are looking forward to being a contender again in 2010. Everyone at Andretti Autosport is 100 per cent focused on winning races and championships.

“We have a lot of work to do this winter, but everyone is committed to the job and we're looking forward to 2010.”
