St James to sign book at PRI

1 January 1901

Seven-time Indy 500 starter Lyn St James is scheduled to sign copies of her latest book, Ride of Your Life, at Racer Parts Wholesale's booth at the Performance Racing Industry [PRI] Show at the Indianapolis Convention Centre on Thursday [5 December].

In the book, St James offers an intimate look inside the world of racing. She recounts years of adversity and the struggle to obtain corporate sponsorships to help fund her 15 Indy car starts, as well as her accomplishments in endurance sports car racing. Readers will get an understanding of the dedication and perseverance needed to excel in this very demanding sport, and St James offers lessons for life that general readers as well as race fans will find inspirational.

She also writes about some of the interesting people she met along the way, including Tom Volk, who owns both Racer Parts Wholesale and TRV Motorsport. St James was one of Volk's co-drivers in the Racer Parts Wholesale/Supreme Exhaust Systems Products entry in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Watkins Glen Six Hours and the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in the late nineties.
