Franchitti, Power top stop-start practice 2

The race stewards continued to display an odd fastidiousness for pit lane misdemeanours, with Mike Conway this time the recipient of a penalty for speeding on pit road.

Conditions for this second practice session were bright and rather sunny, easily the best that the IndyCar field had seen since arriving in Sao Paulo, and hopefully a good sign for the qualifying session that follows at 2pm local time, 6pm BST. However, the forecast is for increasing chance of rain, and race day also looks like it could be somewhat aquatic.

Full practice 2 times available
