This was the guy nearly killed in a crash during the same race last year. Good luck to him (James). 230mph, the stuff of airplanes! Little wonder its called "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" Cant wait to see it!

Hats off to Pippa Mann ... a good showing considering she's just "part-time" ! Barely one second adrift of big names like Montoya, Kanaan, Bourdais, within a whisker of Max Chilton's speed, and ahead of experienced others like Hawksworth. I hope her car is reliable & gets her a respectable finish. Shame that worthy others (eg K Legge, & Simone D S) couldn't get a shot at it this year too. I wonder if she'll be singing "Fun, fun, fun" (Beach Boys song) as she moves through the field?
