Wheldon would not have been able to slow his car down enough and suddenly getting cars slowing to not overtake a wrecked car will no doubt cause more accidents as the rest pile in behind as they try to stop. No one slowed down and stayed behind Sato, Viso, Howard, Hinchcliffe, Briscoe and Bell when they hit the wall.
