Imo for the Indy 500 (and Indy racing series) to become one of the most important races again we need multiple chassis, engine and tire (tyre for the Brits) suppliers in the sport.
"Spec" racing series at this level sucks.
And am tired of rules knocking off criativity and seeing 10+ year old out dated chassis and cars racing at this level too.
I'd much prefer seeing 25/30 cars abnd drivers on a grid than all the "junk" (can't find a better word now) that's out there now.
