I have to agree with most (if not all this) that oval racing should be defended. However, the LVMS showdown was an accident waiting to happen. 34 cars on a short, tight oval like this is not on. Most of oval racing is ok. Kenny (Brack) was incredibly lucky to survive his crash at Texas MS though he was badly injured. IndyCar is also supposed to be about the spectacle, hence 'The Greatest Spectacle in Racing' (INDY500). What would we have without it??? I am delighted Dan (Wheldon) won it last May. RIP Dan
