Nigel Manssel would have a hard time repeating that feat today. Indycar is closer to F1 than it was immediately after the split. Nigel Manssell drove for Newman Haas in Cart. That was the dominant team in CART at the time. So maybe if Barrichello was to jump in a Penske or Ganassi car he might be in the top 3. But KV racing is a well funded team as well. They could even supply cosworth engines to other teams if they wanted.
