On a positive note Jean has clearly still got the pace and has settled in very quickly at Indy. Its a shame for Jean and Simona that the engine is so far off the place and its obvious that for safety reasons that even if the cars qualify that they will probably get blackflagged after ten laps. Where Lotus go from here is unclear - talk of a second HMV entry may be wide of the mark and if they are too slow at Indy will the same situation not arise at the other oval circuits
