I think F1 needs to have a successful F1 race in Texas and be able to maintain that event financially, before they can start looking at expansion. And seriously I think people in America will continue to support the series that supports the Indy 500. Sorry to say it, but the only real open wheeled race in the US that gets much attention is Indy and I bet Austin will be hurting for customers after year 1. Its too expensive, why did Long Beach swap from F1 to Indycar? Expense.
