IndyCar and F1 are two TOTALLY different animals. You don't WANT the F1 mentality to enter the AOW scene. Those BUDGETS that F1 has is NOT something that you'll SEE here in the US. You won't find MANY sponsors, especially in this economy that will fork out $50-$75 MILLION per car! IndyCar is an UNMATCHED Series with so many DIFFERENT types of circuits. Ovals, Super Speedways, Street and Road courses. I LOVE F1, but I don't look at the two as the same type of format at all. IndyCar Drivers are THE most VERSATILE racers in the world. Also, I read above where someone said to have a "Central Figure" (ie:Bernie Ecclestone) as the Figure head of the Series. The LAST thing we want is Bernie Ecclestone running the American OW scene. Jeff Belskus isn't the ONE to CONTINUE the momentum that Randy had built. But there's SOMEONE out there that'll be the RIGHT fit for the Series. Please TAKE YOUR TIME finding that person. But don't take TOO long!
