IndyCar has a challenge from F1-but it's not from some fictional feeder series that is not likely to happen or have any relevance to F1. Any feeder series not consistently running on the F1 circuits means nothing to the F1 paddock -- having another jr. formula series running around north American tracks.. well, it might as well be Indy Lights as it will be no more important to F1 teams than that.
IndyCar will also possibly BENEFIT from F1 .. as F1 moves to IndyCar's channel this season NBCSN --and F1 will directly lead into 4 IndyCar races.. more people are going to sign up and start watching NBC sports network and this will help racing visibility on this newer channel.
