Milwaukee - Race results

Dario Franchitti dominated much of the Milwaukee 225 but came under increasing pressure from Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves - only for the competition to falter at the end.
Dario Franchitti raced off into the lead when the green flag came out at Milwaukee and looked for a time to be out of reach of the rest of the field, but as tyre wear became an issue he found himself ousted from the lead by first Tony Kanaan and later Helio Castroneves and looked to be up against it to claim the race win.

Ultimately a late crash for Kanaan and a puncture for Castroneves handed the race lead back to Franchitti who went on to claim the win ahead of strong finishes for Graham Rahal and Oriol Servia, with Will Power patiently pursuing a damage limitation exercise to finish in fourth and leave the IndyCar championship tied on points.
