Mid-Ohio - Sunday warm-up times

Pole sitter Scott Dixon continued to assert his control at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the Sunday morning warm-up ahead of this afternoon's Honda Indy 200 race.
Scott Dixon topped the time sheets for the last 30 minute practice warm-up session ahead of this afternoon's Honda Indy 200 race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. He was just 0.07s ahead of Graham Rahal in the humid and slightly damp conditions early on Sunday morning.

Although the times are not intended to be competitive - as teams are concentrating on shaking down the car before the race, fault-testing and fine-tuning race trim - Simon Pagenaud's fourth place in the times with a 1:09.9460s just behind Will Power is especially impressive considering the circumstances of his appearance this weekend following the injury to Justin Wilson.

The session was delayed as the medical helicopter had trouble reaching the circuit because of weather fronts in the surrounding area, even though the conditions over Mid-Ohio itself were brighter and eventually sunny.

Bright and sunny??? The weather at the track was pure fog and very low clouds until about 1030am! No wonder the helicopter couldn't get in. It was pure fog on our drive up to the track too. Not sure who is looking at weather for you, but apparently they weren't at the track.
