Baltimore - Sunday warm-up

Simona de Silvestro and Danica Patrick topped a highly unlikely mixed-up final practice timesheet, after accidents wiped out almost the entire half-hour Sunday morning warm-up.
Two accidents wiped out almost all of the half-hour Sunday morning warm-up practice session, with no one able to get a proper representative run. Simona de Silvestro and Danica Patrick ended up at the top of the timesheets, even though Simona's 1:24.0676s was well off the expected usual laptime.

The most frightening accident came just five minutes into the session when Tony Kanaan lost his brakes and ran into the back of Helio Castroneves. A second turn 1 accident between JR Hildebrand and Ana Beatriz shortly after the session resumed resulted in a multi-car pile-up blocking the corner and an early end to the session.

Front row man Graham Rahal and unfortunate back row starter Takuma Sato never got a chance to run a fast lap at all before the chequered flag came out.
