Las Vegas - Friday practice

Tony Kanaan topped the timesheets at the end of the second and last practice session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, ahead of qualifying for Sunday's season finale race.
Tony Kanaan put KV Racing Technology at the top of the timings in the second and last practice session on the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway before the qualifying session for Sunday's season finale.

Oriol Servia, Ryan-Hunter-Reay and Scott Dixon came next in a repeat of their positions in Thursday's practice session. Times in general were slower, with no one improving on Danica Patrick's fastest time in Practice 1.

James Jakes suffered an early crash after suspension failure, which ended with his car incinerated by fire once the driver himself had jumped out.
