Assistant Producer/Motion Graphics Editor


Crash Media Group has undergone huge growth in the last 12 months and as a result we are looking to expand our video content team. We have 4 properties where we want to increase the output and quality of video content, they are: Crash.net, Visordown, Moto and Golf Magic.

The role responsibilities are to assist in the creation of video content across all Crash Media Group YouTube channels, with a primary focus on motion graphics based videos. As well as having good design skills, the applicant must have knowledge of camera equipment and experience in shooting on DSLRs or something similar.

Skills and Experience

 

Required

  • Valuable production experience in a similar or relatable role
  • A collaborative and creative approach to work
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects CC or similar Motion Graphics based software
  • Experience shooting on DSLR camera equipment or something similar
  • Strong narrative editing abilities, knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro CC or similar editing software
  • Good design skills, utilising Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop (Essential) Illustrator (Desirable) and Speedgrade (Desirable)
 

Desirable but not essential

  • Keen interest in sports and knowledge of the industry
  • Basic understanding of lighting and sound equipment
  • Experience in 3D animation

This role is based in our London offices and the package is £18k + benefits.

Crash Media Group is recruiting two Digital Marketing Executives to work across four of the largest websites in motorsports and golf - Crash.net, GolfMagic.com, Visordown.com, and MotoMagazine.co.uk

This is a great opportunity for a recent marketing/ social media graduate or marketing/ social media executive to put their skills and experience to the test and make a real impact at a renowned and rapidly growing media company.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of our main social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
  • Inspire, entertain, and engage directly with our fans and followers.
  • Showcase fantastic content every day working directly with teams across the business to grow our social presence, and drive more traffic to our websites
  • Create and manage all our emails + newsletters to our members to increase visits, engagement, and promote internal and external campaigns
 

Essential:

  • Keen interest in sports and knowledge of the industry
  • Basic understanding of lighting and sound equipment
  • Experience in 3D animation
  • Experience working across a wide range of social media platforms
  • Experience managing + growing social communities
  • Basic design skills/ Photoshop
  • Email marketing experience – creating and sending newsletters/ solus emails
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and happy to drive through own initiatives
  • Good understanding of SEO
  • Experience managing websites, using CMS, and CRM platforms
  • Interest in F1, motorsports, and/or golf
 

Good to have:

  • Experience working with brands and brand social media campaigns
  • Google Analytics/ Social media insights experience
  • Relevant degree in digital marketing/ social media
  • HTML knowledge
  • Facebook ads/ Use of Powereditor/ Twitter ads
  • Experience working to KPIs

Both roles are based in our head office in Farringdon, Central London, and the package is £22.5k + benefits including attending industry events.
