Barnicoat provisionally crowned KF3 Champion.

Ben Barnicoat has provisionally won the 2010 Formula Kart Stars KF3 title following another strong weekend at Three Sisters near Wigan.
A win and a second place finish was enough to provisionally give Ben Barnicoat the 2010 Formula Kart Stars KF3 title as his main points rival Matthew Graham struggled to break onto the podium on the penultimate weekend of the season at Three Sisters.

Barnicoat now holds such an advantage in the points table that even if he were to miss the last two rounds of the season at Ellough Park and Graham were to win all four heats and both finals over the weekend Barnicoat would still take the title by 18 points.

The main focus of interest on the final weekend will be to see if Charlie Robertson can overhaul Graham for second place overall with just four points separating the two of them after Robertson's strongest weekend of the season to date.

Robertson broke his KF3 victory duck in Saturday's final, passing Barnicoat for the lead with less than a lap to go to win by half a kart length with Sam Macleod completing the podium and Dylon Phibbs and Graham completing the top five.

Barnicoat returned the favour on Robertson in Sunday's race, grabbing his sixth win of the year with a late pass. Once again Macleod completed the podium with Graham in fourth.
